Welcome to St Thomas Syrian Orthodox Church, London

St Thomas Syrian Orthodox Church London is the first parish church of the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom. This parish was formed during 1989-90 and it is the mother church of all other parishes and congregations in the UK. This is one of the main parishes of the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Europe(MSOC Europe). This parish is under patronage of His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka Iwas 1 (Prince Patriarch of Antioch & Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church) and  His Eminence Dr Mor Theophilose Kuriakose (Patriarchal Vicar & Metropolitan of Europe & UAE). Revd Fr Eldhose Koungumpillil is the vicar/president of this parish who has been serving this parish for the last 16 years. We worship at St Mary Le-Bow, Cheapside, London EC2V 6AU for the last 12 years. The Holy Qurbana is celeberated on every SECOND and LAST Sundays of the month at 10am. We conduct  Sunday School class in Malayalam for our children after the Holy Qurbana. This will help our children to learn our prayers, traditions and Malayalam language especially when we live in a different culture.The Vanitha Samajam meets every Sunday after the Holy Qurbana.
